Third Cracow Conference on Graph Theory "KAZIMIERZ '97"
September 15-19, 1997
Kazimierz Dolny, Poland
The meeting gathered 71 participants from 12 countries.
The conference was dedicated to the memory of one of the gratest mathematicians of the
past century, Professor Paul Erdös, who was the invited speaker at the Second
Cracow Conference on Graph Theory,
and died in Warsaw in September 1996. There appeared a Special Issue 236 (2001) of Discrete Mathematics containing selected papers presented at the conference.
Kazimierz Dolny, the site of the conference, is a beautiful renaissance town locates
at the Vistula river. Its charm and peace created by mild climate, beautiful flora and
historic relics stimulated the atmosphere of our meeting.
